New Optimist Carter 38 - Cantieri Navali Di Fiumicino / STW001780
The New Optimist is a sloop designed in the late 60's by the American designer Dick Carter. The first hulls were produced by the Sailboat_news in Bologna (Italy), which later became the Cantiere del Pardo. In 1970 the molds were purchased by the Cantieri Navali Di Fiumicino, which began construction and sale in different configurations from that year.
