iconic... here's how to describe this boat in one word. Designed by the famous #sparkman & stephens studio, characterized by an extremely powerful hull, with excellent passage on the wave.

As its prerogative, the shipyard has always built very fast boats and at the same time able to face even the most adverse weather conditions.

Produced in 41 examples and with two different types of sail plans, ketch and sloop.

Looking at the deck, one immediately notices the position of the rudder wheel, set far back to ensure adequate protection for the helmsman from the waves. All the riggings are arranged in a very rational way, confirming the accuracy of the project. It is a boat with excellent windward sailing qualities with a sail area of ​​about 220 square meters for the sloop version and 208 for the ketch version. a spinnaker of no less than 330 square meters and a steering system with two spinnaker poles, no less than seven meters each, to facilitate manoeuvring.

Going below deck, the layout is very different from the current design canons. Entirely designed for long voyages, there are ceiling handrails, and every detail of the carpentry is rounded off to facilitate movement below deck.

 The galley is very narrow but with the elements arranged perfectly to be able to work in it even in prohibitive sea conditions.
